I was born in Richmond, Virginia, to a military family. I spent my childhood in a variety of locations throughout the world, as my father was a career Army officer assigned to bases throughout the United States, Europe and Hawaii. I graduated from high school in Hawaii!
I am married to a retired Marine Corps Colonel, and I have spent the majority of my adult life living in numerous locations. We settled in New Orleans, upon retirement from the military in 1990, and we currently live in Algiers Point. Living in an historic neighborhood, I quickly became interested in old homes. I purchased several pieces of historic rental property and renovated them. Through this, my renovating skills have grown, along with my knowledge of New Orleans historic homes.
My interest in New Orleans properties has led to a very fulfilling profession in real estate, joining LATTER & BLUM in 1993. I believe that living all over the world has given me an understanding of a variety of cultures and people, and makes me especially effective with buyers coming to New Orleans from various parts of the country. My experience with historic homes allows me to bring a well-experienced perspective to local buyers. This blend allows me to best serve both my local and out-of-town clients.
